Foclóir Gaedhilge agus Béarla

Fr Patrick S. Dinneen (1860-1934) had already published the Poems of Aodhagán Ó Rathaille for the Irish Texts Society (1900) and then the Poems of Eogan Rua Ó Suilleabháin (1901) for the Gaelic League and many other works when he began working on what was to be the basis of the larger work – the Pocket Irish-English Dictionary appeared in 1904. The much larger dictionary was published in 1927.
