Anyone who is interested in the aims and interests of the Irish Texts Society may join for an annual fee. The benefits of membership include discounted publications and advance notification of events.
2014 Nomination Process
This communication follows on the Honorary Secretary's letter of 23 March 2014 posted/emailed to all ITS members along with the Newsletter and List of Publications. Each year all Officers and a proportion of the other Members of Council stand down and are entitled to stand again for election. A downloadable nomination form is available [ITS Council Election 2014 – Nomination Form (PDF)]. To stand for election/re-election the person nominated must be in current Individual Membership, as must be their proposers and seconders.
Nominated candidates are requested to provide a candidate's statement of no more than 250 words for circulation with ballot papers for contested posts. Completed nomination forms and candidate statements must reach the Honorary Secretary by 19 September 2014.

The text of any motions for the AGM, proposed and seconded by current Individual Members, must be submitted to the Honorary Secretary by the same date, 19 September 2014.
Downloadable ballot papers for contested posts will be available on the ITS website from 8 October 2014.
